Rescuing dogs and cats, one life at a time
pawshelt was founded by a group of passionate dog and cat lovers who refused to accept the common belief that shelters had no option but to euthanize “unadoptable” animals. Determined to make a difference, these future founders joined forces and began rescuing dogs and cats from shelters just as their time was running out.
What started as a handful of volunteers has grown into a dedicated rescue that provides medical treatment, rehabilitation and loving foster care until every animal finds a forever home.
